Bump, Set, Splat 2026 is our mud volleyball tournament, and it is a charity event start to finish. Every penny of the proceeds goes to Nature’s Nursery.
If you are not up for playing purely for the fun of it and supporting the charity regardless of how your team does, this is not the event for you.
The day
- Saturday, August 29th
- Gates open at 9:00am for tent setup and waiver signing
- Play starts promptly at 10:00am
- We aim to be finished by 8:00pm at the latest
- Round-robin pool play until roughly 3:00pm
- Five games guaranteed, based on the number of teams registered
- Seeded tournament play follows, in two skill levels
- Teams not playing are assigned games to referee — mainly keeping score
Team format
- $490 per team, up to 10 players
- Up to 8 players on the court at a time — and most teams use all 8, because you are playing in mud
- Co-ed format: at least two women and two men on the court at all times
- Event promotional items are included for every team member
- Closed-toe shoes are required on the courts

How big it gets
There is room for 100+ teams across the whole event. We have completely filled every spot for the past several years and expect to again in 2026 — we are digging a few more pits this year to widen the field. Registration closes when the field is full rather than on a fixed date, so do not leave it late.
